The Reviews:
Driving at Midnight: Atmospheric, if there is any word to describe Deconstructing Eden perfumes it is that. Driving at Midnight immediately transports me to the passenger seat of my husband’s 1990 Mazda Miata, car windows down, cool air surrounding us as weave around the turns of the Northern California mountains, climbing ever higher. Damp earth and wet concrete tingle my nose as I smell this perfume in bottle. Wet on my skin a rich green earthy scent emerges. DE’s perfumes pack a punch in the scent department with the 50/50 mix I spoke of earlier.
Cinnamon Girl: Opens up fruity with a little floral backnote but not super floraly. The fruit is most likely apples or maybe peaches. On my skin, the alcohol hits my nose very briefly but simmers down immediately to a juicy ripe peach. My skin chemistry amps the cinnamon to 100, as it does with all spices. It is rich real cinnamon, not any of that fake red hot cinnamon. Toni so perfectly encapsulated fall with these two perfumes. This is the first cinnamon perfume I’ve smelled that isn’t fake to me, I adore this perfume and I’m so glad I bought a large bottle while I could.
This two perfumes are unfortunately unavailable now, but the rest of the Deconstructing Eden catalog is also worth checking out.
